Beyond Corporate Social Media: Critical & Creative Strategies
Discussion between Harm van den Dorpel, Tim Pritlove (CCC) and Nadim Samman
Social Media Week is a worldwide event exploring the social, cultural, and economic impact of social media. Their mission is to help people and organizations connect through collaboration, learning, and the sharing of ideas and information. It’s the biggest free festival of its kind in the world. For the art day, we would like to shed light on both sides of the relationship between art and social media: first, why (or why not) and how artists make use of social media for their presentation, communication, and even selling of works; second, how artists reflect upon social media in their own works, how they approach this topic, and how they integrate it in their own work.
